Years ago, I was headed to the house at night and came across a tiny owl in the middle of the gravel road. I stopped and took a welding glove out of my toolbox where upon he hopped right on my hand. The next day I took him to the vet and the vet agreed with me he must have hit a car. With some meds and instructions on how to feed and water him I took him home. About two days later I couldn't find him. After a little searching we found him in the closet. Gently took him outside and away he went. On occasion we would come home in the evening, and he would be sitting on a chair on the open front porch.

Your owl are very cute. I made the mistake of saying I liked flamingos about ten years ago. I can’t tell you how many”mingos” I have inside and outside.

There are 3 caterwauling outside in my yard as I read this. Based on their calls I think at least two are juvies. Owls are extremely cool

People like owls because owls are sky cats, and people like cats.

To be fair, people like cats because cats are ground owls, and people like owls.

My daughter likes owls, but I suppose that's to be expected, Kent. Your page is always refreshing.

There's something about them. I used to have them in my backyard hooting all night and it was the most soothing thing ever.
