In 2010 in Banff I had the incredible experience of spotting the great Kent Peterson in a supermarket in Banff. I spoke with him briefly, but he seemed a bit dazed. Could have been the nonchalance that superstars sometimes use to buffer themselves from their fans, or it could be that he had just ridden some ridiculous number of miles from his home in Issaquah. At any rate, it was a highlight of my time there. I wonder if Kent the Stamp Guy inspires the same degree of awe in his fans?
I got my stamps today so thanks almost famous Kent. I got one for my wife but we couldn't find the stamp pad so she will have to wait till tomorrow when we can go and get one. Not sure what all she will be putting her owl stamp on but as long as it isn't my forehead, I am good.
As a fly fishing blogger I was less famous than you. Like once some guys stood around staring at me at a fishing access until one of them finally asked “Are you that Fontinalis Rising guy?” Once.
I was also one of those early adopters of the World Wide Web who learned HTML and published a website called Better Guitar. It became very popular. I used to get lots of guitar gear sent to me for review and even got to keep some. And affiliate marketing paid pretty good back in the day. But as much as I love guitars, I grew tired of writing about them, and especially writing reviews, so I shut it down after a few years. I don’t think I ever got recognized in public because of it. So you are definitely more famous than me. 🤓
First digit was a one ..not a two. Love That!

Being in the same company as Joe Walsh is a good thing!

Walsh's skills as a guitar player are only exceeded by his bizarre sense of humor.

The former me was.
Now what? Better times in the head and rolling along!
