Two weeks ago at the Barker’s Island Farmer’s Market I bought a packet of really good biscotti which, of course, I promptly ate because it was really good.
You’ve had a bunch of home, runs without even having to hit anything haven’t you? Biscotti, if that’s what you really love and the biscotti lady saves biscotti for you each week you are in seventh heaven!
It’s lovely to be able to take time to enjoy and be aware of all the things around you like you are doing. Thanks for sharing.
My wife and I got back from eating out a little while ago. The restaurant was crowded and loud. In the middle of the place were two young people about a year old and started laughing as loud as they could at each other. It took about thirty seconds and the whole place was laughing with them. I never found out why they were laughing but it was infectious.
You've nailed retirement right on the head. It's all about the little things we didn't have time to enjoy when we were working. I loved your photos, especially that sassy little doe looking back at you. What an awesome shot, Kent!
I learn a lot from you Ken. I am too busy. I definitely believe, somewhere down deep, my life needs to MEAN something, that I have to actively strive to make this world a better place.
Your writing is a does of great peace and clarity in a tangled mind.

Thanks Kent. I never get tired of hearing about your days. And that shot of the deer is very special.
Sounds like a very good day indeed! Being retired has its benefits. 💕
That’s great service on her side that she tucked away that biscotti for you!
