The Presta valves are French in origin and they are common on pretty much all higher end road bikes. Because they are skinnier in diameter the valve hole in the rim is smaller and they are theoretically a bit better for narrow rims.
Well that makes sense. But I like the defiant attitude of the bike manufacturers, there is beauty in being fully rounded. But you are practical as always Kent. Another wholesome storytelling. Thank you for sharing
